Innovex's workflow engine watches for a trigger — a stage change, a new lead, an overdue task — and fires an action automatically: update a field, notify a rep, create a follow-up. Rules are configured from the CRM's own workflow manager, not a separate scripting layer.
Essence ships both: workflow schemes that model the exact statuses and transitions an issue moves through, and a separate rule-based automation engine for trigger/action logic layered on top of it.
